Hill 'n' Dale Farms announced Sunday that longtime client Josham Farms and Yvonne Schwabe's mare, Decor, produced champion Good Magic's first foal.

Out of stakes winner and multiple stakes producer Classic Neel, Decor is a half-sister to graded stakes winner and Grade 1 performer Conquest Tsunami, from the family of Delaware Oaks winner Nickel Classic.

A session-topping million dollar yearling, Good Magic earned the Eclipse Award as champion 2-year-old after winning the Breeders' Cup Juvenile. On his road to the 2018 Kentucky Derby, he captured the Blue Grass Stakes (G2) before eventually finishing second to Justify in the Kentucky Derby. He notched his second Grade 1 victory in the Haskell Invitational at Monmouth.

"We had a gorgeous Good Magic filly last night at 9:50 p.m.," said Yvonne Schwabe. "She has a great frame with lots of substance, solid bone, with a very pretty head. An excellent foal -- we are delighted."

"Yvonne and Teddy have been close personal friends for a very long time," said John G. Sikura, President of Hill 'n' Dale Farms. "We have never taken their support of our stallions for granted and it couldn't be more fitting that we announce that Curlin's next important son, Good Magic, sired his first foal in Canada at their farm."
