Woodbine’s Grade 1, $800,000 Canadian International, won in seven of the last eight years by an overseas runner, will again match the Europeans against North American contenders. The one to beat in Saturday’s 1 1/2-mile feature fits into the former category.

Thundering Blue, who ran against some of the best on grass in the Juddmonte International (G1), is the morning line favorite in a field of 11 with Manhattan Stakes (G1) winner Spring Quality the second choice. The race appears wide open beyond that duo.

So with that, here’s a look at the field with morning line odds:

 1. Markitoff 20-1
 2. Thundering Blue  2-1
 3. Khan 10-1
 4. Funtastic 8-1
 5. Tiz a Slam 20-1
 6. Spring Quality  4-1
 7. English Illusion 15-1
 8. Bandua 20-1
 9. Johnny Bear 8-1
 10. Desert Encounter  6-1
 11. Focus Group 10-1
