Can Danedream Capture Arc Again?

DESPITE his star filly Danedream being superseded at the head of the Arc market by Orfevre on Sunday and the recent big race wins of Snow Fairy and Shareta, trainer Peter Schiergen is still confident of doubling up at Longchamp on October 7.
Danedream was workmanlike on her last start, landing a slowly-run Grosser Preis Von Baden by half a length, a race she won by six lengths last year on her way to Arc glory.
Meanwhile, the two horses who finished closest to her in last year's race have enhanced their claims, while Japanese challenger Orfevre has also emerged.
