Jockey Samy Camacho was sent to Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch by ambulance for evaluation X-rays after a spill in Sunday’s fourth race at Monmouth Park, according to track medical director Angelo Chinnici.

Camacho, the track’s second-leading rider with 29 wins, went down in the five-furlong grass event for 2-year-olds when his mount, Bingo’s Girl, appeared to clip heels with Gold Alliance entering the turn. That resulted in Momma Kim and jockey Jorge Gonzalez, unable to avoid the fallen horse and rider, going down as well.

Gonzalez reported no injuries. Bingo's Girl and Momma Kim both walked off the track, according to the Equibase chart.

Camacho was excused from the remainder of his mounts on the 10-race card.

He is in second place in the jockey standings for the current meet with 29 wins from 129 starts. Paco Lopez leads with 38 wins from 133 starts.
