Calder: Big day for Azpurua family

The $125,000 Jack Price Juvenile Stakes turned out to be a family affair for Calder's veteran Azpurua family and a breakthrough win for 2-year-old colt Manicero.

Leo Azpurua owns Manicero and his son Leo Jr. trains the horse who won the seven-furlong dirt stakes by 8 1/4 lengths over Ribo Bobo.

Motin finished another length back in third.

Manny Azpurua, a brother of Leo Sr., trains Ribo Bobo and Motin.
