CDI slashes jobs after Youbet purchase

When it completed its purchase of Youbet.com in June, Churchill Downs Inc. said it expected to save $12-million a year in cost synergies.
Those numbers took the form of 64 jobs according to notices the company sent out in late September.
Churchill informed 36 employees that they will be let go on or around December 3 and another 23 that their jobs will be terminated between December 31 and January 31. Another five employees will be let go sometime next year.
