Bullet Train, a Group-winning, three-quarter brother to the sensational and undefeated Frankel, will enter stud in 2013 at Wintergreen Stallion Station in Midway, Kentucky for a fee of $7,500 it was announced today.
“We are tremendously excited to have the opportunity to stand a three-quarter brother to the horse who has been heralded the world over as one of the greatest of all time,” said Wintergreen owner, John Greely, IV. “Bullet Train gives American breeders the opportunity to infuse that classic Juddmonte Farms bloodline into their mares at a stud fee that is fraction of the cost to that of Frankel.”
“The Greely family has had decades of success breeding in Kentucky and my brother Mark and I are proud
to partner with them by standing Bullet Train at Wintergreen,” said
bloodstock agent Bob Feld, who will manage the stallion. “With his
excellent speed, athleticism and outstanding pedigree, Bullet Train
really suits American racing and should be well-received by breeders
from coast-to-coast.”
