A field of 11 fillies and mares entered Saturday’s Grade III $100,000 Arlington Matron, to be run at 1 1/8-miles over the Polytrack at Arlington International Racecourse. Headlining the race will be Brooklynsway, winner of the Grade III Hilliard Lyons Doubledogdare Stakes at Keeneland April 22. The Bernard Flint-trainee last started for owner Naveed Chowhan in the Grade I La Troienne on the Kentucky Oaks undercard, where the Ontario-bred 4-year-old filly by Giant Gizmo ran fifth. She will break from post three under E. T. Baird while looking for her fifth victory on an all-weather track.

Hall of Fame trainer Bill Mott will send out Flipcup for Team Penney Racing, Wachtel Stable and Brous Stable. The daughter of Milwaukee Brew has earned four of her six lifetime wins on synthetic tracks, including the Grade III Maple Leaf Stakes at Woodbine last October. Chris Emigh will be aboard from the rail for the 5-year-old mare’s first start since the Bay Ridge Stakes December 12.

Also entered for her second start of the year is The Elkstone Group’s Lady Fog Horn. Trained by Anthony Granitz, the daughter of Zavata capped the 2015 season with a second-place finish in the Grade III Cardinal Handicap at Churchill Downs Nov. 21 after rattling off four consecutive stakes wins at Indiana Grand Race Course last fall. Regular rider Albin Jimenez will guide the filly from the outside post 11.

Lothenbach Stables’ highly regarded 4-year-old Blame filly No Fault of Mine will put her perfect local record on the line in the Matron. A winner on the Arlington main track in her career debut in September 2014, the Chris Block trainee also captured a local allowance race in September 2015. Carlos Marquez, Jr. will ride from post six.

Completing the field will be Tiz Lately (Edgar Perez, post two), Bitty Kitty (Jose Valdivia, Jr., post four), Innovative Idea (James Graham, post five), Personal Diary (Jack Gilligan, post seven), City of Trix (Julio Felix, post eight), Zubi Zubi Zu (Mitchell Murrill, post nine) and She’s Not Here (Francisco Torres, post 10).
