Breeders' Cup Juvenile 2020: Preview & Odds
Following his impressive win over a strong field in the Hopeful (G1), Steve Asmussen's undefeated Jackie's Warrior all but locked up the favorite role for the Breeders' Cup Juvenile months before the race.
The big question that remains is who will emerge as the second choice from a jumbled bunch. Dr Schivel looked well on his way to claiming that role after winning the Del Mar Futurity but was recently removed from consideration for the race.
Get Her Number turned heads with a nice win in the American Pharoah and Sittin on Go looked good winning the Iroquois, but one has to think the second choice will end up coming out of Saturday's loaded Breeders' Futurity at Keeneland.
Calibrate, Founder, Upstriker, Essential Quality and King Fury were among the most talked about impressive debut winners across the country this summer. They all clash in the Breeders' Futurity, which likely will turn out to be the most productive 2-year-old race of the year thus far.
