Breeders' Cup: Way to Be Marie is withdrawn from Filly & Mare Turf

Way to Be Marie, who was fourth on the preference list for the oversubscribed Breeders’ Cup Filly & Mare Turf, was withdrawn from consideration for the race and was not on the plane Monday morning bringing horses from Kentucky to Del Mar.

She had been working at Keeneland, most recently breezing five furlongs in 1:04.60 on Oct. 18.
