Golden Pal is the clear favorite for the 2020 Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf Sprint, at 9-4 in international futures, with four other youngsters having odds shorter than 10-1.

Golden Pal, an Uncle Mo colt, broke his maiden on third try in Saratoga's Skidmore Stakes on Aug. 21 for trainer Wesley Ward. He was runner-up in his first two races, a maiden special weight at Gulfstream in April and the Group 2 Norfolk Stakes at Ascot in June.

Ward also trains the 6-1 second choice, Campanelle, who is 3-for-3 this year. The Irish-bred daughter of Kodiac broke her maiden in May at Gulfstream. Then she headed overseas, winning the Queen Mary Stakes (G2) at Ascot on June 20 and the Prix Morny (G1) at Deauville on Aug. 23.

Supremacy, the third choice at 7-1, is coming off three straight wins in England for trainer Clive Cox. The Irish-bred son of Mehmas scored in the Middle Park Stakes (G1) last out on Saturday and in the Richmond Stakes (G2) in July.

Another Irish-bred colt, Lucky Vega, is a fourth choice at 8-1. The son of Lope de Vega, trained by Mrs. John Harrington, was runner-up to Supremacy in the Middle Park. Overall, he has two wins in five starts, all in Europe.

Also at 8-1 is Outadore, an Outwork colt also trained by Ward. He graduated in July at Saratoga and then won the Kentucky Downs Juvenile Turf Sprint last out in September.
