Breeders' Cup Classic guide: Odds, PPs, analysis

The Grade 1, $7 million Breeders' Cup Classic is the richest race North America has to offer, and it drew a worthy field of 14 this Saturday.

City Of Troy is the 5-2 betting favorite for the 1 1/4-mile event, but considering he's never run on dirt before, this race is very much open for an upset. 

Going as race 8 on the Del Mar Saturday program, post time for the Breeders' Cup Classic is 5:41 p.m. EDT. NBC will have exclusive live coverage of the event.

No pace data is available for City Of Troy, but the chart comments suggest that he'll be mixing it up early along with Derma Sotogake (blinkers on), Fierceness and Arthur's Ride in what could be a blistering Breeders' Cup Classic pace. 

Forever Young and Sierra Leone are projected to be far back early, as they were when they nearly hit the wire together in the Kentucky Derby.
