Undefeated Flightline closed as the 4-5 favorite following the completion of betting on Monday in the second pool of the Breeders’ Cup Classic Future Wager.

After his stunning 19 1/4-length victory in Saturday’s Pacific Classic (G1) at Del Mar, Flightline (4-5) led the listing of 23 individual horses and one “all others” wagering interest. This year's $6 million Breeders’ Cup Classic which will be run at Keeneland on Nov. 5.

Pool two of the future wager generated $437,147 in total handle, more than doubling the $205,349 wagered in the first pool that saw Flightline close as the 2-1 favorite.

The Breeders’ Cup Classic Future Wager was a win bet only with a $2 minimum. Payouts are made to the single cent as a result of the penny-breakage rule in Kentucky, where the wager was processed.

Flightline was followed in the pool 2 of the Future Wager by Epicenter (7-1), winner of the Travers (G1) at Saratoga. Jockey Club Gold Cup (G1) winner Olympiad closed as a slight 8-1 choice over Whitney (G1) winner Life Is Good (8-1).

Santa Anita Derby (G1) winner Taiba (33-1) was the fifth choice. The “all others” wagering interest closed at 36-1.
