Tickets for the 2025 Breeders’ Cup went on sale Wednesday at BreedersCup.com/Tickets. The 42nd running of the season-ending international championships will be held Oct. 31-Nov. 1 at Del Mar.

This year's Breeders' Cup features 14 Grade 1 races and a robust undercard as part of a two-day festival worth more than $34 million in purses and awards. This year marks the fourth time Del Mar will host the prestigious event.

As part of a new multi-year partnership with SeatGeek, the Breeders' Cup will use advanced technology to streamline the purchasing process. New for 2025, in order to purchase tickets to the World Championships fans must have a SeatGeek account, which may be created for free at SeatGeek.com/#register. All tickets will be mobile only. Tickets will be available to view upon purchase, and access to barcodes will be available closer to the Breeders' Cup.

Fans also can purchase tickets by calling the ticket office at (859) 514-9428. A range of seating options at various price points are available. All tickets will be sold in advance of the Breeders' Cup and are subject to availability at the time of purchase. No tickets will be sold at the gate Oct. 31-Nov. 1. Those interested in hosting corporate outings or large groups may register for more information at BreedersCup.com/Groups.

New this year, fans may opt to donate at purchase to Breeders’ Cup Charities. Funds raised through Breeders’ Cup Charities are distributed to causes dedicated to supporting Thoroughbred aftercare, backstretch and industry workers, jockey health and wellness, equine research and other community ventures.

The 2024 edition of the Breeders’ Cup at Del Mar resulted in all-time high global wagering of $203.7 million with 157 Thoroughbreds from a record five continents, including 61 international contenders, the most in the history of the World Championships.

"We look forward to returning to Del Mar and the greater San Diego area for the world championships after celebrating great success last year,” Breeders' Cup president and CEO Drew Fleming said.

Breeders’ Cup and Del Mar will invest more than $5 million to create new seating areas and expanded hospitality offerings. This investment will include the construction of a luxury chalet that will provide about 700 premium dining seats, the addition of more than 1,000 temporary box seats and enhanced culinary activations at Del Mar.

Attendance capped at 37,500, and fans are encouraged to acquire tickets early as demand is expected to be high.

All on-site parking at Del Mar will be sold in advance. A dedicated ride-share lot will be available for patrons over the weekend.
