The 2023 Breeders' Cup is less than one week away, and although the fields are not yet finalized, its never too early to get a jump on handicapping. Horse Racing Nation has already published over two dozen Breeders' Cup handicapping articles and we've assembled them 15 of them here to help you get started.

Breeders' Cup Super Screener

Be sure to check out the Breeders' Cup Super Screener, which has picks, analysis and wagering ticket recommendations for all 14 races. Get started with this first one showing you three favorites to toss, and keep watching for more videos to come.

Breeders' Cup fair odds

Ed DeRosa has you covered with fair odds for several of the biggest BC races. If you aren't familiar with fair odds, these are odds lines of where you should bet or not bet each horse. DeRosa has shared his fair odds for three of the richest races: the Breeders' Cup Distaff, Breeders' Cup Dirt Mile, and Breeders' Cup Juvenile.

You can get Ed DeRosa's odds for all 14 Breeders' Cup races as part of the Everything Breeders' Cup package which combines all of HRN's Breeders' Cup products into one low price.

Early Odds and Analysis

Matt Shifman has analyzed the biggest races and provided early odds and analysis for the Breeders' Cup Classic and the Breeders' Cup Distaff to help you get started finding those contenders and throwing out the pretenders.

Best Speed Figures

When handicapping the Breeders' Cup, finding the fastest horses is important. Padraic Manocchio takes us through the biggest races and highlights who has the best speed figures in the Breeders' Cup Classic and the Breeders' Cup Distaff, looking at three different types of speed figures including the new HRN speed figures.

Analyzing the pace

Pace is another core aspect of handicapping the Breeders' Cup. HRN takes you through the possible pace scenarios, starting with two races that often draw an over-abundance of speed. Find out how the pace stacks up in both the Breeders' Cup Juvenile and the Breeders' Cup Sprint.

Keys and trends

HRN writers Laurie Ross and Ashley Tamulonis take us through some of the keys and trends of the tricky juvenile races. They highlight stats like the most shccessful post positions, what prep races winners are coming from and more. Prepare for Future Stars Friday by diving into the keys and trends for the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf, the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies and the Breeders' Cup Juvenile.

More handicapping

Some of the best betting opportunities of the Breeders' Cup come on the grass. Even more handicapping articles highlight important factors like who will excel in the Breeders' Cup Turf Sprint, run at the very short 5 furlong distance this year, and then a lighter article where Padraic  Manocchio attempts to pick the Breeders' Cup Turf from first to last.
