A Keeneland official told TVG that the turf track will be firm for Friday's juvenile Breeders' Cup races.

Tim Farendorf, Keeneland’s assistant track superintendent for technology and administration, explained how the turf condition is determined in a TVG interview.

On Wednesday, when the interview was conducted, he said the condition of the track at the time was good, in his opinion.

But, he added, “we’ll be listed as firm by Friday.”

The comments were made in TVG's Thursday morning edition of Breakfast at the Breeders' Cup. You can watch the program below — the Farendorf section begins at the 38-minute mark.

Thursday's program is available below.

Check back later, when we'll tell you where to find highlights of today's program.
