Ken and Sarah Ramsey's homebred Bobby's Kitten kept to task as the decisive victor of the $500,000 Penn Mile at Penn National on Saturday.

Javier Castellano scored his third win on the day's card, guiding Bobby's Kitten to an easy stalking position, two lengths behind Sing the Dream, who set an early pace of :23.32, :48.02. Storming Inti followed another length behind.

Bobby's Kitten took control in the turn, passing the pacesetter without contention. The 3-year-old colt by Kitten's Joy, out of Celestial Woods by Forestry, kicked clear and opened daylight on his rivals to finish the mile in 1:35.82.

Global View rallied late to finish second over Storming Inti. Divine Oath was fourth.

Bobby's Kitten was a top juvenile turf runner with a Grade 3 win in the Pilgrim at Belmont and a third-place effort in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf. Earlier in his 3-year-old year, the Chad Brown-trainee dabbled on the Triple Crown trail, finishing 12th in the Blue Grass at Keeneland.

Bobby's Kitten has a lifetime record of four wins and two thirds from seven starts and total earnings of more than $600,000.
