SPRINT sensation Black Caviar (Peter Moody/Luke Nolen) set an Australasian city record of 20 consecutive wins with another imperious display in the Sportingbet Classic.
The unbeaten daughter of Bel Esprit travelled powerfully from her draw in stall three, before sauntering clear of her nine rivals to maintain her unbeaten record.
Electric from the gate, Nolen had to ease Black Caviar back to get a lead from Just Sybil and Spurcific in the early stages, racing just off the rail in third position.
Rounding the home turn, Black Caviar had already pulled herself past the pace setters and into a clear lead. Powering further clear, Nolen only had to change his hands in the final furlong as Black Caviar extended her winning sequence.
