Biondetti primed for BC Juvenile bid

Mahmood Al Zarooni reports Biondetti to have settled in well at Churchill Downs ahead of his assault on the Breeders' Cup Juvenile.

Godolphin's unbeaten colt was last seen winning the Group One Gran Criterium at San Siro after previous victories at Newmarket and on the all-weather at Kempton. While he proved capable on the Polytrack, the son of Bernardini will be trying dirt for the first time on Saturday.

He put in a lengthy gallop of three miles on Wednesday as Al Zarooni kept to his usual training system, and his handler said: "We did stamina training. He went around twice, rested and then did one more. He was really looking good. He's better than he was two days ago. After travelling, his head was down a bit. Today he's much better and he looks bright."
