— Legion Bloodstock (@LegionBldstk) May 29, 2024Geroux has trained with Honor Marie at Churchill Downs and over the winter at Fair Grounds, according to Daily Racing Form. He got the mount after Ben Curtis, who rode him to an eighth-place finish in the Kentucky Derby, broke his collarbone in a training accident at Delaware Park, according DRF. Curtis also rode the Honor Code colt in a runner-up effort in the Louisiana Derby (G2).
Honor Marie has a record of 6: 2-2-0, with his latest win coming in the Kentucky Jockey Club (G2) in November.
Geroux was aboard last-place finisher Just a Touch in the Kentucky Derby.
In his most recent work at Churchill Downs, Honor Marie breezed five furlongs Saturday in 1:01.4.
