Belmont Stakes 2026: Overseas odds for June 6 at Saratoga
Kentucky Derby runner-up Renegade is the overseas futures favorite for Belmont Stakes 2026, according to a London-based monitor of bookmakers in Great Britain.
The winner of the Grade 1 Arkansas Derby, who is owned by Robert and Lawana Low and Mike Repole and trained by Todd Pletcher, is best-priced at 7-4 at Coral, Ladbrokes and Unibet, according to Oddschecker.
Report: Potente, Chip Honcho will not go in Belmont.
Renegade, an Into Mischief colt who cost $975,000 and has earned $2,031,500, was slammed into the rail coming out of post 1 at Churchill Downs this month. Carrying 5-1 odds, he rallied under jockey Irad Ortiz Jr. to finish second, losing by a neck to Golden Tempo. His record is 6: 2-3-1.
Chief Wallabee, the Bill Mott-trained debut victor who finished fourth in the Kentucky Derby, carries best odds of 9-2 at William Hill in the U.K.
Golden Tempo, the 23-1 winner of the Derby, is 13-2 at William Hill. Commandment, who was seventh May 2 in Kentucky, carries 13-2 odds at Coral and Ladbrokes.
With no early betting in Nevada, there is no legal futures action in the U.S. on the Belmont.
Entries for the race will be taken and post positions drawn Monday at 5 p.m. EDT. The Belmont will be run a third and final time at 1 1/4 miles at Saratoga before returning to its rebuilt Belmont Park home next year.
