Bella Palooza stalked the pace in her career debut and drove clear to win the second race at Hollywood Park on Wednesday by 1 3/4 lengths and become the first career winner for Central Kentucky-based freshman sire Bellamy Road.
Trained by Doug O’Neill for owner Suarez Racing, Bella Palooza completed the 4 1/2-furlong maiden claiming race in :52.39 on the synthetic Cushion Track surface under Tyler Baze.
