Beethoven Going to Dubai

An impressed Seb Sanders lauded Beethoven after his latest win in Qatar, with connections confirming that the Dubai Carnivalis the target for the former Aidan O'Brien-trained four-year-old.

After winning HH The Heir Apparent Trophy at Al Rayyan racecourse in Doha, Qatar, Beethoven is unbeaten in two starts for new trainer Ahmed Kobeissi, and beat among others Joshua Tree, his former stablemate at Ballydoyle.

Sanders, who has been in the saddle for both victories said: "That was the furthest trip over which he has won [1m3f] and he certainly stayed well.

"We took over three and a half seconds off the track record and when you think Group 1 winners like Joshua Tree were behind us it was a good performance in a good race.
