Baaeed, the undefeated 4-year-old trained by William Haggas, will try to bring his record to 10-for-10 in Wednesday's Group 1, $1.2 million Juddmonte International Stakes at York Racecourse in England.

The Shadwell homebred has five Group 1 wins to his credit and career earnings of $2,635,010. His three victories this year have been by a combined 6 3/4 lengths.

Baaeed also is the top-ranked horse in the world rankings compiled by the Europe-based International Federation of Horseracing Authorities.

The current 4-9 favorite with British bookmakers, Baeed leads a field of seven in Wednesday's race, which is the only European win-and-you're-in qualifier for the Breeders' Cup Classic. Post time is 10:35 a.m. EDT.

At about 1 1/4 miles, it will be the longest race yet for Baaeed, who has made all of his starts at one mile. Jim Crowley, his regular rider, will be on him for the eighth race in a row.

Baaeed will face Mishriff, currently at 9-2, who won the Juddmonte last year but has gone 0-for-4 since. Trained by John and Thady Gosden, the 5-year-old also won last year's Saudi Cup (G1) and Dubai Sheema (G1) and has amassed earnings of $15,534,568. He will be ridden by James Doyle.

The only 3-year-old in the field is Native Trail (15-2), winner of the Irish 2,000 Guineas (G1) before finishing third in open company last month in the Eclipse (G1). Trained by Charlie Appleby and ridden by William Buick, he will carry 127 pounds, while the others will carry 134.

Rounding out the field are Alenquer (25-1), Dubai Honor (50-1), High Definition (40-1) and Sir Busker (66-1).
