It was a huge weekend of racing highlighted by the Blue Grass Stakes at Keeneland. For the William Hill Kentucky Derby Futures, it was a big weekend as well, with changes in the odds for some of the favorites.
After winning the Blue Grass, Art Collector made a huge jump up the board, going from 30/1 to 8/1. The son of Bernandini opened at 125/1.
But Art Collector’s big week wasn’t enough to make him the favorite. That honor continues to belong to Belmont Stakes winner Tiz the Law, who sits at 11/5 odds this week, unchanged from last week’s futures.
The only others with single-digit odds this week are Honor A.P. at 5/1, up from 4/1 last week, and Authentic at 6/1, up from 5/1. After her second place finish in the Blue Grass, Swiss Skydiver made her first appearance on the board, opening at 100/1.
