Arrogate has been scratched from today's San Pasqual Stakes due to wet track conditions, as first reported by the Racing Post.

Trainer Bob Baffert reports that the four-year-old son of Unbridled's Song will now train up to his date in the $12 million Pegasus World Cup on January 28.

That race at Gulfstream Park will feature a rematch between the hero of the Breeders' Cup Classic and Travers Stakes against North America's all-time leading money winner, California Chrome.

Two days of heavy rains in Southern California have left the Santa Anita main track in sloppy conditions, although no rain is expected today.

If he had run in the San Pasqual, it would have marked only the 7th lifetime race for Arrogate. He has five in a row after finishing third in his career debut.
