Applauding turned out at Claiborne Farm

Trainer Al Stall also said Tuesday that the 3-year-old filly Applauding, twice scratched from Fair Grounds stakes races in 2012, is presently turned out at Claiborne Farm in Kentucky.

 

Applauding, who set a Keeneland Polytrack record for six furlongs in her career debut last fall and was an easy winner of her other start, a first-level sprint allowance at Fair Grounds, was scratched the morning of the Jan. 21 Silverbulletday Stakes after showing colic-like symptoms.
