5 Breeders' Cup horses to bet using the 'Money Back Special'

As the Breeders' Cup returns to Churchill Downs, our partner TVG has ensured players can bet with a bit more confidence in all 14 races Friday and Saturday. TVG's "Money Back Special" promotion is in effect, meaning you get refunded on your first win bet per race if the horse finishes second or third.
Pretty good deal, right?
The "Money Back Special" is good for wagers up to $10, and note for races with smaller fields, at least eight runners need to be in refunds on a third-place finish. Simply join TVG, opt into the promo, and you're ready to bet.
With the promotion in mind, here are five horses I'll be playing using the "Money Back Special" this weekend, looking for both value in likely board hitters and security on some favorites:

Friday

Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf

#6 NEWSPAPEROFRECORD (2-1) could be the real deal for Chad Brown. The word was out in her Saratoga turf route bow, and she tracked the pace and blew away her rivals that day. She was the even money favorite in the Miss Grillo Stakes last time, and she went to the front and dusted her rivals again. Brown has used the Miss Grillo as a prep for this race several times, and he has had plenty of Breeders' Cup success. With Newspaperofrecord's first two races were on yielding ground, she looks tough to beat on any footing.

Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies

#4 RESTLESS RIDER (9-2) is 2-for-2 at Churchill Downs, and she stretched out successfully in the Alcibiades at Keeneland on Oct. 5. She owns running style versatility and looks like a solid threat to finish somewhere in the top three. Her trainer, Kenny McPeek is 0-for-29, in the Breeders’ Cup, but fourteen of his runners finished second or third.

Saturday

Breeders' Cup Sprint

#9 ROY H (5-2) won this race last year, and he got back to that type of form in the Santa Anita Sprint Oct. 6. He drew perfectly and figures to stalk outside and possibly wear down Imperial Hint again. He won this from post 8 last year, and may have won this race at the draw once again.

Breeders' Cup Mile

#4 POLYDREAM (5-1) is a strong win contender for Goldikova’s trainer, Freddie Head. She won back-to-back group starts in June and August, and got trapped in the Prix de la Foret last time. She is 0-for-2 at one mile, but she is Group 1 placed at this trip. She has looked good in her training sessions at Churchill Downs.

Breeders' Cup Distaff

#11 MONOMOY GIRL (2-1) is clearly the best 3-year-old filly in the land. She crossed the line first in all six graded dirt routes this year (disqualified in Cotillion last time), including the Kentucky Oaks at Churchill Downs. She also romped in the Rags to Riches at Churchill as a juvenile. She owns early pressing versatility and is 2-for-2 at a mile and an eighth. She should go off at her highest price since the Oaks.
