2013 Kentucky Derby Future Odds Released

Wynn Las Vegas released its first future odds for Kentucky Derby 2013 on Thursday. Uncaptured, an undefeated son of Lion Heart trained by Mark Casse and owned by John C. Oxley is the very early favorite at 30-1.

Second choice is Hopeful winner Shanghai Bobby at 40-1, trained by Todd Pletcher for Starlight Racing.

Odds for some other notable two-year-olds are:

Know More, from the owner/trainer of 2012 Kentucky Derby winner I'll Have Another, is listed at 65-1. Know More is also a son of Lion Heart, who broke his maiden in his first start, the G2 Best Pal stakes at Del Mar.

Bob Baffert's Del Mar Futurity winner Rolling Fog, sidelined by bucked shins, is a 100-1 to make the May 4th classic race.

Not to be ignored, impressive filly Dreaming of Julia, owned by Stonestreet Farms and trained by Steve Asmussen, is set at 60-1 to win the Kentucky Derby.
