A filly and a colt, the first foals sired by 2022 horse of the year Flightline, were reported on social media this weekend.

Juju’s Map, a Liam’s Map mare, foaled a filly Friday night in Kentucky, according to Albaugh Family Stables, whose Saturday post on X said, “Juju’s Map welcomed her first foal, a filly by Flightline, into the world last night. We are so excited, and we are happy to say that Juju and her baby are doing great.”

Lady Scarlet, a mare by Union Rags, produced a colt early Saturday in New York at Thirty Year Farm.

“Meet the first reported son of Flightline,” the New York Thoroughbred Breeders said in their message on X. “Dam Lady Scarlet joined the Thirty Year roster at Keeneland Sales in November.”

BloodHorse and Thoroughbred Daily News were first to report details of the new foals.

Flightline stands stud at Lane’s End in Kentucky with a fee of $150,000 for each standing and nursing foal.
