$10K Memorial Day Recap

Memorial Day was all of the fun we thought it would be at DerbyWars and no more player more fun than $10,000 Memorial Day Game winner Chantilly.

The veteran player was able to string together several strong picks that led to an impressive score of $106.80 through 11 races, which allowed him to take down the top prize of $5,000. (He qualified for the game by entering the $35 Super Qualifier earlier that day.)

“I would advise DerbyWars players to take advantage of the qualifying events.” Chantilly said.

Indeed, for all of the big games at DerbyWars, qualifying games are offered throughout the week where players can get in the game for a fraction of the cost.

“My main handicapping advice would be to find a horse you like and the public does not like.” Chantilly said.

He did just that when nailing down Quittin Time, a son of Florida Derby winner Scat Daddy. Quittin Time, winner of a five furlong turf dash at Churchill Downs, was ridden by Jesus Castanon. The horse paid $24.40 to win and $8.20 to place. It was his biggest score of the day.

“Don’t be afraid to play the bombs. That is how you win! Sometimes picking and praying is the way to go!” Chantilly said.

The next big game will take place on June 9, Belmont Stakes day. Deposit now and claim your generous sign-up bonus!
