Who Am I ???

*Bred in America's Mid-Atlantic region, my bloodlines trace back to both Nasrullah and Discovery.
*An American champion, I was a proud member of an excellent foal crop.
*I was based primarily in the East Coast, but I did win a stakes race by more than 8 lengths west of the Mississippi.
*Known for my ability at shorter distances, some of my biggest wins came at 1 1/8 miles.
*I raced in 8 states overall, with 14 of my races coming in Maryland and 11 coming in New York.
*My most successful rider was a native of Canada, and a member of their Hall of Fame.
*I was a stakes winner in each of my seasons on the track, with my Eclipse Award coming in my four-year-old season.
*A winner of 42% of my races, I lost one win when I was DQ'd from a 4-length stakes score.
*My first stakes victory came at Delaware; my last one, and one of my most important, was at Saratoga.
*Unfortunately, I am no longer with us, but I did plenty of living in my 25 years.
*I loved the name of my top son, who ran several big races at Saratoga, including a win in the Travers.
You should know by now … Who Am I ???
