Who Am I ???

*My sire, his sire, and his sire, were all bred in France, but I was a Kentucky homebred.

*It took a few starts, but my first two wins came at a famous Florida track, and were by an average of nearly nine lengths.

*I appreciated a distance and retired having won all but one of my eight career starts around two-turns.

*My only career loss at two-turns came in the Jockey Club Gold Cup at Belmont Park.

*My trainer was the son of a Hall of Famer, while my owner/breeder was a member of American racing royalty.

*All of my riders, there were only two, are members of the Hall of Fame.

*My biggest rival was a speedster, who once set the pace in the Kentucky Derby.

*A winner of more than half of my lifetime starts, I finished out of the money only twice, and won a Grade 1 in my final start.

*I never won a race shorter than 8 ½ furlongs, with my longest win coming at 1 ½ miles.

*All of my races took place at only four tracks, and I was a graded stakes winner at each.

*I lived a long life, finally passing away just a few weeks short of my 30th birthday.

You should know by now … Who Am I ???
