Who Am I ???

*Bred in Kentucky, one grandsire was a champion in Europe, the other was a major winner who finished 2nd in several huge races in the U.S.
*My racing career began in a turf sprint at Belmont Park; I never did that again.
*I proved a safe investment for my owners, winning mucho earnings over a lengthy racing career, before selling for even bigger bucks after my racing career.
*Although the majority of my victories came in New York, I was able to grab graded wins at two Kentucky tracks.
*I was a stakes winner in all of my years on the racetrack, and I ran in the Breeders' Cup four times.
*My conditioner may not be in the Hall of Fame, but his father is.
*I won 28% of my races and just under $2.2 million in my five seasons of racing.
*Although I finished 3rd in a grade one on dirt in my first stakes attempt, I was known for my affinity of the lawn.
*I won my first race by more than four lengths, which was a bigger margin than all of my other victories combined.
*My final two career wins came in the same grade one race; in the second year, I lit up the tote board.
*Today, I live far away from my original home, in the twentieth-largest island in the world.
You should know by now … Who Am I ???
