Quick & Dirty Pick 4 on Haskell Day

Fresh off another great day at the windows, or at least the online version of betting windows, I will be investing a small portion of yesterday's winnings on the all-graded stakes Pick 4 at Monmouth Park culminating with the million dollar Haskell Invitational:

Leg 1 - Taylor Made Matchmaker (G3) - Silver Screamer

In handicapping this one I liked two horses easily the best; Dealbata, a good looking import for Chad Brown, and Silver Screamer, a super sharp turf filly coming off a nice win over the course. Dealbata is scratched so I'm putting all my eggs in the Silver Screamer basket with high hopes that she wins her third straight.

Leg 2 - The Molly Pitcher (G2) - All

The difference between how much I like my top pick and how much I like my eighth pick is quite small ... the perfect time to hit the All button.

Leg 3 - The Oceanport (G3) - Get Serious

While there is some other speed to deal with, the best horse in the race has the rail, the class, and dig that Monmouth Park record of 11 wins in 19 races ... singling him!

Leg 4 - The Haskell Invitational (G1) - Nonios & Paynter

It's time to take a stand against the Kentucky Derby horses, and I love my chances with the pair of Nonios and Paynter. I am expecting huge things from Nonios starting today, and if he cannot get it done, I feel secure in having a powerful Bob Baffert ace in the hole.

I'll bet it for a buck for a total wager of $16 ... Good luck to everyone!
