2010 Eclipse Awards - the Morning Line

While every Tom, Dick, and Harriet is publishing their Eclipse Award ballots this time of year, I have decided to put a little different spin on things. A decidedly horse racing centric spin that is. The following represents my personal assessment on each horse’s chances to take home an Eclipse Award. Many of the divisions are cut and dry, but the odds serve to further illustrate margins of victory, as well as place, and show finishes.

Please remember these odds only represent what I believe will happen in the voting. For the most part, I think the voters will get it right. My personal selections differ in only one division, that being the Turf Male, where I choose Paddy O’ Prado. As far as who will actually win, you only need to look at the favorite in each division. Those will be your champions … you can bet on it.
