2013 Kentucky Derby - May Madness

College basketball may have March Madness, but in the world of racing, it is all about May Madness! The first Saturday in May to be exact. The field has been created, and unlike the NCAA tourney, the Kentucky Derby brackets stick with a simple field of 64.

The rules are simple, win and advance; 1 vs. 16, 8 vs. 9, and so on. Print out the field, and tell me (right here in the comment section for the world to see) who you have advancing to the sweet 16, the elite 8, the final four, all the way to the one horse who you think will be adorned in roses on the first Saturday in May. And for the first time ever, a $200 win bet on the horse of your choice in the 2013 Preakness awaits the lucky winner.

The winner will be the bracket with the most final four picks that finish in the top five in the Derby. To keep it a level playing field, you must use the brackets below, and all picks must be in by Tuesday, March 19. If there is a tie, it will be decided on how well your champion finishes. If still tied, overall finishes of your elite eight will decide things. Without further ado, I am proud to reveal the brackets for the third annual Kentucky Derby Tournament on Horse Racing Nation. Let the games begin!

*Please note - The 11 seed in the Affirmed region is Siete de Oros
