Tournament Schedule Through July 31
7/15 Surfside Race Place on the Del Mar property has a contest where the top qualify for the 2012 DRF/NTRA National Handicapping Championship (NHC). $300 entry fee with 40 maximum players.
7/16 Delaware Park holds another monthly handicapping contest where the winner gets into the 2012 Horseplayer World Series.
7/16 Hawthorne OTB’s are conducting a live money tournament where the top three qualify for the 2012 NHC. A $300 bankroll is required.
7/16 BC Qualify has a weekly contest to qualify for their monthly final where the top five qualify for the Breeders’ Cup Betting Challenge and the top two qualify for the 2012 NHC. $100 entry fee.
7/16 and 7/17 Surfside Race Place holds a two day contest with three NHC spots up for grabs and a $12,000 first prize. $200 entry fee.
7/20 Del Mar starts their annual online contest where the winner gets into the 2012 NHC. The contest is free!
7/23 Foxwoods hosts a contest where the winner qualifies for the 2012 NHC. $5,000 first prize. Entries are limited to 100. Players must fork over a $200 entry fee and fund a $200 bankroll.
7/24 Woodbine up in Canada has a contest where the winner earns a spot into the 2012 NHC. $100 entry and $40 tournament bankroll.
7/24 NHC Tour hosts a free contest for tour members where the top three finishers get into the big dance.
7/24 HP Qualify has a qualifier for the Bettor Racing Players Challenge in September. $150 entry fee.
7/28, 7/29, and 7/30 The Summer Classic at the Gold Coast in Las Vegas. $400 entry fee.
7/30 Keeneland offers another one of their popular contests. The top three finishers qualify for the 2012 NHC. Each entry costs $150. First prize is estimated to be $15,000.
7/30 HP Qualify has another qualifier for the Bettor Racing Players Challenge in September. $150 entry fee.
7/30 and 7/31 Del Mar- If you are confident and have a lot of money then Del Mar’s contest is for you. The entry fee costs $1,000 and each player needs to fund a $5,000 tournament bankroll. First place will net you $40,000. Entries are capped at 50. The top five finishers qualify for the 2012 NHC.
