Thirteen two-year-old fillies were pre-entered in the 2016 Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies. The race is the 4th on the Breeders’ Cup Saturday card, with a post time of 12:05 PM PDT.

Two of hopefuls, Miss Grillo (G3) heroine New Money Honey, and Chandelier Stakes runner-up With Honors have first preference in the Juvenile Fillies Turf. Their defection to the turf would leave the Juvenile Fillies field set at ten, the smallest number of entrants since 2013.

The five Win and You’re In Breeders’ Cup Challenge winners make up the main body of the 1 1/16 mile contest:

Daddys Lil Darling  1st Pocahontas Stakes (G2)

Dancing Rags 1st Alcibiades Stakes (G1)

Noted and Quoted 1st Chandelier Stakes (G1)

Sweet Loretta 1st Spinaway Stakes (G1)

Yellow Agate  1st Frizette Stakes (G1)

California mainstay conditioner Bob Baffert is taking two shots at the race with Chandler Stakes heroine Noted and Quoted and American Gal, who captured the Anoakia Stakes by over six lengths in her last outing.

East Coast trainer Rudy Rodriguez ships in with Colorful Charades, who was third in the Frizette and recent maiden winner Jamyson n’ Ginger.

Surprisingly, the East Coast giant Todd Pletcher is represented by a single entrant, Sweet Loretta, who fought to a dead heat victory in the Spinaway Stakes (G1).

Also entered are Champagne Room, who was fourth in the Chandler, and Valadorna, a recent maiden winner at Keeneland.
