February's Injury List

Always in a Tiz: came out of the Southwest with a lung infection. Update: After a couple of weeks off, Always in a Tiz started breezing. He's currently prepping at Belmont for a start in the Wood Memorial

Brown Almighty: Finishing fifth in the Smarty Jones Stakes and fighting a lung infection. Update: Brown Almighty is back in training at Oaklawn and recently finished third in the OBS Championship (Colt and Gelding Division) Stakes.

Big Lute: After an off the board finish in the Southwest Stakes, he breezed a post-race bullet at Oaklawn and came out with a knee chip. He'll be out until this Summer or Fall.

Delhomme: Flipped his palate in the Risen Star. He'll be evaluated for possible surgery.

I've Struck a Nerve: Longshot Risen Star Stakes winner injured an ankle during a breeze on on March 9 and is off the trail. Injury doesn't appear to be career ending.

Tiz the Truth: Impressive maiden winner at Santa Anita in February is battling quarter cracks. He'll be pointed to a summer campaign.

Valid: Injured in the Withers Stakes where he grabbed a quarter. He's out of the spotlight until later this Spring.

Zeewat: After a tough trip in the El Camino Real, he'sbeing freshened for a summer campaign.

Bern Identity: Stakes winner finished fifth in the Holy Bull Stakes on January 26 and missed a scheduled start in the Fountain of Youth. Update: The Kelly Breen trainee has been sent to the farm to recover from issues.

Escapefromreality: Hasn't recorded a work since he was bumped and clipped from behind in the Gotham Stakes March 2.
