ANGELA RENEE had to travel 2,811 and 1/16 miles
to earn her first graded stakes victory, but it was all worth it as she showed
her heels to the California contingent in the Chandelier Stakes.
Angela
Renee is a Siena Farms homebred by Bernardini out of Pilfer, making Angela
Renee a full sister to Cigar Mile/Woodward hero To Honor And Serve. In the winner’s circle, a Sennia Farms representative
remarked that, “They brought her out ready to run. She's training well and thought
it was a good spot for her.”
Previously,
the well-bred filly finished second in the Adirondack Stakes (G2) and third in
the Spinaway Stakes (G1). Angela Renee
will stay in California to prepare for a guaranteed spot in the Breeders’ Cup
Juvenile Fillies.
