The Resting Place of Lady’s Secret Facing Foreclosure

I do not typically plea much, but if you are a horse lover and loved Secretariat and/or his daughter Lady's Secret ... you may want to read this post. A friend of mine that owns the farm that Lady's Secret is buried on may lose it soon. She needs to come up with $50,000 in the next few days.

I would like some ideas on how to raise that money. A lot of things have gone through my head. If all the Lady’s Secret fans, or even a portion donated a dollar to this cause, the problem would be solved. Personally, I think it is a sin to touch a gravesite, and I can't even believe that this will happen, considering all the Secretariat fans everywhere.

Who knew and loved Lady's Secret? She lived there on the farm and died there giving life to her last foal. As you all know, I have a soft spot for horses and cannot even imagine being in this predicament. That land is a national treasure. If anyone can donate or share, or has any suggestions, or knows someone that has a means to help out, please step up and do so.

Understand that if I had the cash, this would be a done deal. My only hope is for all to donate a dollar, all racing, and Secretariat fans, since we all have big hearts. My suggestion was posted on the official California Chrome site to see how many of his 140,000 fans could and would donate a dollar to save this farm.

The owner has told me that she is willing to give anyone who gives, lifetime access to come visit the farm. They will also be able to tour the farm, and memorial garden set up for Lady's Secret and to visit her grave.

If anyone wants to donate and doesn't know how to find the site, comment below and I will assist you with that. I just figured I would reach out to everyone ... thanks for reading. I wish this could go out on all horse racing sites.

Any little bit helps. Horses are living on that farm that need our help. This a dire situation, other horses and a national treasure are involved. I wonder if Penny Chenery would help if she knew.
