Friday Morning Gallops for Arlington Million Day Contenders

I visited Arlington Park Friday morning to catch some of the Arlington Million day contenders galloping.

Against All Odds: Arlington Park's iconic statue of a determined John Henry defeating The Bart in the inaugural Arlington Million symbolizes Arlington's ability to rise from the ashes of the fire that consumed it 30 years ago.

(Above & below two) Arlington Million (Gr. I) contender Triple Threat won my personal best-looking-horse award of the morning.

Secretariat Stakes (Gr. I) contender Highland Reel.

Hyper, entered in the American St. Leger Stakes (Gr. III)

(Above & below two) Beverly D. (Gr. I) entrant Mango Diva.

(Above & below) American St. Leger Stakes contender Highball.

(Above & below) Secretariat Stakes entrant Crittenden.

(Above & below) Beverly D. contender Maid On a Mission.

(Above & below three) Beverly D. entrant (and winner of last year's edition) Euro Charline.
