If you are hoping to maximize your chances to see American Pharoah during his visit to New Jersey for the Haskell Invitational, here is the Triple Crown winner’s schedule for that week.

American Pharoah will have one more workout at Del Mar on Tuesday, July 28th. The following day, July 29th, he will board an airplane to fly to New Jersey. The Zayat Stable’s star is scheduled to land at Atlantic City Airport at 1:30pm ET. According to Google Maps the 78.2 mile trip from the airport to Monmouth Park will take 1 hour and 20 minutes. That does not include leaving the plane, loading onto the horse van, and the fact that he will have a police escort up the Garden State Parkway. Most likely he won’t get to the track until 3:30pm at the earliest.

Here is where and when American Pharoah fans will have the chance to see him at Monmouth Park prior to the Haskell.

• American Pharoah will gallop over the track on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday between 7:30- 7:50 a.m. The Clubhouse will be open to the public on Friday and Saturday from 7-8 a.m. He will be easy to watch because, at that time, the track will be open to only Haskell participants.

• Also, Pharoah is set to school in the paddock with the field for the first race of the regular Friday, July 31, race card. Post time for race one is 12:50pm.

Of course, the Haskell will be run on Sunday, August 2nd, with post time at 5:52pm. If you can’t make it to the race it will be telecast live on NBC from 5-6 p.m. Gates will open at 9 a.m. on race day with first post set for 11:30 a.m.

At this point American Pharoah is likely to face five challengers: Mr. Jordan, Competitive Edge, Keen Ice, War Story and Tekton.
