Big Plans for Monmouth Park

Since the New Jersey
Horsemen’s Association completed a 35 years lease of Monmouth Park from the New
Jersey Sports Exposition Association, changes for the Jersey Shore track have
been slowly being released.
Two entities have been
formed to run Monmouth Park for the NJTHA. Dennis Drazin, who for years has
been a prominent figure with the NJTHA, along with Robert Kulina will head
Elite Consulting LLC to manage the racing side of Monmouth Park.
Brian and Robert Drazin
head Darby Development Co., which has plans for the development of the land
surrounding the track. Morris Bailey had similar plans to develop the Monmouth
property. It seems Bailey’s
guidance will be part of this management team.
