Vote for the 2018 Breeders' Cup's official artist through Monday

With the Breeders' Cup returning to Churchill Downs this November, we'll have new purple posters and paintings and other paraphernalia in which to invest.

As to who will design it, that's up to us.

The Breeders' Cup has opened voting to determine its official artist for the Nov. 2-3 championships in Louisville. Five finalists are vying for the job, and while the early lead belongs to Tyler Roberts and his simplistic design, Churchill will ask patrons during its Saturday "Downs After Dark" to vote via text message.

A big crowd should be on hand with Triple Crown winner Justify set to parade under the Twin Spires before five graded stakes run, including the $500,000 Stephen Foster Handicap.

Online voting is limited to one per person per day with the cutoff 11:59 a.m. Monday.
