Team Spendthrift announced Friday a name for Beholder's first foal that will appear to both fans of the colt's champion mare and...the "Friday Night Lights" television series.

Nicknamed "Prince," the horse will officially be known now as "Q B One." It's a recognition of the "Queen," Beholder, as well as a moniker for a football team's starting quarterback.

As explained on the Spendthrift website: "They carry the team and are considered one of the most well-known positions in all of sports (think Joe Montana, Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, etc.). We are excited and have big dreams for this colt."

A son of Uncle Mo, the colt was named through a contest that Spendthrift said received 4,000 submission. Congrats to the winner -- and we'll see if Q B One is someday running P1 on the racetrack.
