Today on HorseCenter, your co-hosts Brian Zipse and Matt Shifman preview and offer their picks for a trio of Grade 1 races at Saratoga on Saturday in the Whitney, the Test, and the Saratoga Derby.
The Whitney brings with it a purse of $1 million and has a unique field where all five horses have career earnings of more than $1 million.
A field of eight 3-year-old fillies will race seven furlongs in the Test led by the Grade 1 winner Search Results. European Bolshoi Ballet will try to add a victory in the Saratoga Derby to his win in the Belmont Derby last month.
