HorseCenter: Derby delay reaction; Louisiana Derby picks
This week on HorseCenter, co-hosts Brian Zipse and Matt Shifman deliver reactions to a new date, Sept. 5, for the 2020 Kentucky Derby.
This, of course, marks the first year since World War II ended in 1945 that the race won't run on the first Saturday in May.
The guys also preview Saturday's big day at Fair Grounds Race Course topped by the Louisiana Derby (G2), the first 100-40-20-10 prep on the Derby trail.
The show wraps up with takes on a few of last weekend's performances, namely the Rebel Stakes (G2) winner Nadal, Azeri Stakes heroine Serengeti Empress and Charlatan, the latest buzz name out of the Bob Baffert barn.
As always, thanks for watching HorseCenter.
