This week on HorseCenter, Brian Zipse and Matt Shifman analyze and offer top picks for a pair of Kentucky Derby points races. The Springboard Mile at Remington Park on Friday night drew a competitive field of nine 2-year-olds, and Hall of Fame trainer Bob Baffert will try to continue his dominance in Saturday's Grade 2 Los Alamitos Futurity.

Otto the Conqueror, who was named the morning-line favorite in the Remington Springboard Mile, won his last two starts at Churchill Downs going seven furlongs for Steve Asmussen. Trainer Brad Cox has two entered in this two-turn mile, and one of them is the top pick of Matt and Brian.

Baffert has three entered in the six-horse field of the Los Al Futurity as he tries to win the signature race for the eighth time in the last 10 years. Coach Prime is his top contender based on his visually impressive maiden victory at Del Mar by more than seven lengths.

Enjoy the Friday evening card at Remington Park and the big day at Los Alamitos. As always, thanks for watching the show.
